Terrence Howard...whats good?
So Terrence Howard has a new album entitled, "Sanctuary", and this is one the songs off the album. It's called 'Mr. Johnson's Lawn" and it doesn't make me feel good inside. It's weird. These are the lyrics...

You're a grown ass man! You shouldn't be running around trees hiding from anybody's daddy...don't you have kids yourself?? And the whole "Stay off Mr. Johnson's Lawn" makes me think of plantations...
I heard that he recorded the album in 11 days...and there's a total of 11 tracks on it. Thats about a track a day!! You probably should have spent a little bit more time on this one Terrence...you're not Jamie Foxx...you don't have it like that.

So I was web browsing, cuz thats fun to do...in my travels i ran into this lil video with a character named GO-GO...but I could have sworn it was Ne-yo...but then I thought it was Sisqo and then I was confused....hahahha...but it is pretty damn funny...All i can say is your dude has come a LONG WAY...maybe this is just what the 90's did to ppl....and i mean it was when Steve Harvey still had a fro so it had to be a minute ago...but get a good laugh in between studying and such cuz i know i sure did....OH GO-GO....hahahahah

Deer Xing
I go to school in Central NY. It starts snowing in October and it doesn't really offici
ally stop until it feels like it. It's nothing that you ever "get used to", you just have to deal with it. One of my friends said that America should sell this land to another country. That might actually be a good idea. We could use the money and nobody really comes here so its not like we'd be losing any tourist revenue. Anyway, one thing I do not understand about winters here are all the deer. Why do they wait until winter to be everywhere?and Why don't I see them as much when the weather is warm? They roll deep too and they always have extra energy and wanna run across the street REALLY, REALLY fast when they see you coming in your car. I guess they're mad that we've intruded on their space and so they want to total our cars and make us have bad accidents. idiots. You're only hurting yourself DEER and you're a bad influence on squirrels too. They see you guys running across the street all fast and they get to thinking that they're all quick and nimble. It's so messed up. With all that said...everybody be careful driving and watch for deer and squirrels.

you owe ME!
Author and Professor Julius Lester expressed his sentiments regarding what white people know and what black people do not know in his November 28, 2008 blog entry entitled, Why Black American’s are Indebted to White Americans. He said that “one of the real ironies of Barack Obama's election to the presidency is that it was white Americans who recognized and believed in this possibility long before blacks”. I will agree with Lester to an extent. Two years ago, even one year ago, I did not think that a black man would be president right now. But to say that black American’s are indebted to whites is a bit extreme. The term indebted implies that blacks owe white people something and we do not owe them a thing. If anything, they owe us..right?? Anyways, I thought that an age-old historian like Lester would be on the same page as me. I was also confused by that entry because a few months earlier he was saying that black people knew all along that they were capable of holding the executive office of this country and that it was white people who had to be convinced. “In reality, the ‘first black syndrome’ is an enormous achievement for white people. Since 1619 black people have known that we could do anything white people could do. It has taken white people almost 300 hundred years to figure that out.” (From his June 5, 2008 entry, peep it out). For four-hundred years white people have played the ‘savior’ role to black people. White people have made it seem as though without them we would be in Africa right now, playing with dirt, (not that there is anything wrong with that but you know what i'm tryna say), and so for Lester to say that we are indebted to them for Obama’s presidency upsets me. We appreciate everyone who voted blue because even if all the black people in America came out and voted for Obama and no white people supported his ticket, he would not have won the contest. Thanks yall!!! (but we still don't owe you jack).

808s & Heartbreak (but mostly heartbreak)
Kanyeezy's 4th album dropped November 24th and its a little bit sad and depressing. I thought his next album would be called Ph.D...or Grad School or something that tied in with the whole academia theme...but since he graduated, Kanye's looking for love. Poor guy. I think he just needs a girlfriend. His verse in Jeezy's 'Put On' kind of hinted at the fact that he was lonely...he was pretty passionate about the fact that there were still bitches that owed him sex...and how he lost the only girl in the world that knew him best but after listening to his latest album...its clear..homeboy got it bad.
So..who remembers how Kanye went on everybody that was in college on his first album??? Esmee Denters. She was discovered on YouTube by Justin Timblerlake and now has a record deal. I personally think that's some stalker ass shit Mr. Timberlake. You jocked her on youtube, probably watched all the video's she had...(i know because I do stuff like that but the difference is that I'm in college with nothing better to do...your ass is famous)...and pretty much hunted her down to offer her a job. It's cool though...you know, do your thing...she does have talent. It's just weird that she wen't from virtual reality fame to peforming on major stages.

Juan Dixon
So yesterday I was watching some old Jordan footage. His old movies, some of his old games a whole buncha stuff. So then I started thinkin about basketball and for some reason Juan Dixon came to mind..you know...Maryland Terrapins...2002...parents were drug addicts...yeah Juan Dixon. I have no clue why or how, but for a good 3 hours I was just tryna figure out WHERE HE WAS AT!??!?!? And crazy enough I turn on the television to see that he's back with the Wizards. They played the Celtics last night and the Celtics ate their lunch 122-88. I mean...I knew they were going to lose because..it's the Celtics..they're 21-2 right now and they've got a nice little 13 game winning streak poppin off...they're GOOD, no they're REALLY GOOD...but I just didn't think it'd be that bad...and Juan hasn't gotten much better since college. He still has that jumper (kind of) but that's about it. And he's looking kind of frail these days...anyways now that I know where he is I don't miss him that much anymore.
